SUMMARY:Learn to Curl
DESCRIPTION:Let us introduce you to the great sport of curling at our Learn to Curl session on Saturday\, October 22nd\, 2022\, from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.  Instructors will be available to provide instruction and to answer any questions that you may have.  Our Learn to Curl session is open to all abilities and ages 8 to 80+. \nPlease bring rubber soled shoes or runners.  A clean pair of running shoes will be required as this helps to keep our ice from getting dirty.  The club will have curling brooms to borrow. \nPlease wear warm\, loose-fitting clothing.  The temperature on the ice is approximately 40 degrees so it can be rather brisk.  A pair of track pants\, a light jacket and a pair of mittens or gloves are suggested.  Dress in layers.  Children under the age of 13 will be required to wear a helmet and must be accompanied by an adult.  Waiver forms will need to be completed prior to accessing the ice. \nLimited space is available so please register early by calling the Riverview Curling Club office at (204) 728-6004 or via e-mail at gm@riverviewcurling.ca.
